4Don't blame the ball because you can figure it out.Jul 12, 2011
By MaMaKat
I just picked this up at the local TJ Max on a whim (went there for something else). Anyhow, it was $6.99, so I couldn't say "no". I haven't watched the DVD or exercised yet. But I felt bad that the product had bad reviews just because people couldn't figure out how to inflate the ball. Like I said, I didn't watch the video, so I don't have instructions on inflation. But just by looking at it, I can tell you how to do it. For the love of God, TAKE THE WHITE BALL STOPPER OUT BEFORE INFLATING! You can blow til you're blue in the face, and you will NEVER inflate the ball if you don't take it out. Put the straw directly into the blue ball and fill it up from there. If you feel like you lose air between blowing and getting the stopper in, simply wedge the straw and stopper into the hole at the same time. That way, when you have blown it up as much as you can, all you have to do is push down on the stopper while pulling up on the straw. Again, without watching the DVD, I can tell you just by looking at it, you don't want it filled to max capacity. It needs to remain squishy to conform to your body. This isn't a basket ball/volleyball. Nor a medicine ball. It's meant to have some give. And just like any other ball, it will lose air over time from use. Just remember where you put the straw and fill it again. Give the ball a chance, man!

1Save your moneyNov 20, 2009

I just purchased this ball at the local sports shop (Amazon's price is less). It comes with a good instructional DVD which also guides you through inflating the ball (no paper, thank you for saving some trees!). I viewed it and the exercises appeared to be pretty effective. But the problem therein lies with the ball. Anybody can inflate a ball, right? On no, not this one! I tried and tried and gave up in frustration. Its opening seems to be wider than the straw provided and I was only able to fill it to 60% before the air started coming back out. The flimsy straw quickly bent, good luck finding another straw that fits. This ball didn't workout and neither did I.

1The core training ballSep 12, 2009
By Derick "film fan"
I have used these types of training balls at my gym - loved them - and wanted one of my own. However, this particular one is a big disappointment. It has a flimsy opening through which to fill it with air (which, by the way, you need to figure out yourself, because it came with no directions and no air pump) - once filled (if you can even get it filled to capacity), it never stays filled. I don't see a leak - the air just doesn't want to stay in. I would bot recommend this particular ball to anyone.

5Love the video! I have personally had great resultsJan 18, 2012

I got this ball about 2 years ago and used it everyday for about 3 months. My stomach had never been flatter and I felt that my entire body was nicely toned. I was so sad that I lost my ball when I moved. I'm so happy I found this item on Amazon. I just reordered it.. Just in time for summer! I highly recommend this product for those who are at their ideal weight and just want to tone up.

1Don't Waste Your Time or $Jan 02, 2011
By A. C. Young
This ball is a HUGE disappointment! I do believe it would be a great tool for core workouts, but after multiple attempts, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the stupid thing inflated. The instructions on the DVD show the instructor inflating it effortlessly, but the video has to be rigged. It's impossible. Don't waste your money--you will never get it to hold air. However, I did get quite a cardiovascular workout just trying to blow it up. Needless to say, it's going back to the store tomorrow.
